Shape competitive bids for the energy of the future
In the role of bid engineer, you will work together with the bid manager to create the most competitive and engaging bids for our customers. You will prepare bids and calculations and engage in dialogue with suppliers and subcontractors. You will collaborate with several roles within the group such as the purchasing department, project managers, internal suppliers, etc. Your tasks will include evaluating and listing risks, opportunities, uncertainties, and methods to create the foundation for competitive bids.
Other tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible for MAP as a whole
• Analyze requests
• Pricing and financial calculations towards end customers and stakeholders
• Support projects in the execution phase with renewed pricing
• Establish a timeline in the bidding phase, in consultation with project managers, and support in the execution phase
• Prepare bid documentation
Detail-oriented number person who finds motivation in business
The ideal candidate is a trained engineer or has several years of experience in a supervisory position within construction. You have previously worked with bidding processes and are well-versed in MAP and other calculation tools.
You describe yourself as structured and methodical. Being an essential part of the team inspires you, while your skills in financial analysis shine through.
As NKT is in a strong expansion phase, we are looking for someone who enjoys a varied work environment where there is room for innovation!
We also expect you to have good knowledge of:
• General regulations of the construction industry: AB, ABT, ABK, AMA system.
• MS Excel and Project.
• Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
As the role involves close collaboration with several functions located in Karlskrona, we prefer that you are also in the local area or can work hybrid.
